When selecting the perfect picture for your portrait there are a few things to keep in mind. It should be clear, in focus, and well lit. The face should be large enough to see the whites of the eyes. A minimum of 1.5" from top of the head to the chin is necessary. The more detail in the face, the better quality achieved. Multiple photos can be helpful.
Keep in mind
~I strive to capture the best likeness I can from your pictures and depending on the quality of the photos, results may vary. Each portrait is a work of art, a personal 'artistic interpretation' of your photo.
~Ornaments are super simplified versions of a true quality portrait. Any duplicates will be unique.

Originally from the United States says my passport...
but on my heart, the indelible stamp of France where I lived my childhood and developed my love for art.
Attending classes at the Arts et Couleurs school of art in a setting of ageless architecture and endless culture whispered dreamy possibilities in my ear...
Discovering oil paint under a flamboyant Italian artist in our small town drew out creativity in the corners of my mind...
Studying art in college upon my return to America refined my talent and strengthened my focus as a portrait artist.
The face : it's what I know best and where I find the greatest fulfillment expressing myself.
I've enjoyed years of experience drawing portraits of children. My first love is pencil work. There's nothing quite like the comfort of blending black and white into soft shades of greys. Oil comes in a close second, only because it requires a little more patience and time. But color results can be pretty exciting!
Oklahoma is where I make my home today with my husband and our two kids.
